ASU home My ASU Colleges and Schools
Since we live in troubled times, Friends of ASU plans to continue our friendly luncheon presentations with a mixture of cheer, humor, and reality. Our first program is a surprise visit from Julie Sherman, Executive Director of Wildlife Impact, a non-governmental international organization.
Julie is an example of how to turn a lifelong passion about animals into a career of protecting wildlife and habitats. Her global experiences with wildlife sanctuaries, environmental organizations, and international conservation policy--including the Convention for the International Trade in Endangered Species of Fauna and Flora (CITES), will help us understand what is happening internationally with wildlife conservation and how we can individually make informed choices to protect rare species and wild places.
