Meet & Greet Pizza Party Program with Pre-Party Panel
11:00 to 11:45 Panel of ASURA Members discussing: Things I Wish I had Known When I Retired
noon to 12:40 Socializing and eating pizza
12:40 to 1:00 Welcome by ASURA President, Tara Roesler, followed by short presentations of events and activities that have been scheduled for the remainder of the 2018-2019 year
Since a number of our members have been retired for a relatively short time a pre-party panel will discuss Things I Wish I had Known When I Retired. The panel is presented by the ASURA Seminar Committee and is composed of ASURA members who will discuss their experiences in adjusting to retirement. Historically members of the audience have added interesting addtions to the panel's presentation. All are welcome to attend.
At the conclusion of the panel session the room will be set up for the the pizza party which officially begins at noon. This party is an opportunity for you to welcome new and potential new members to ASURA. It is also a most excellent opportunity to catch up with your colleagues on what has been going on since last spring.
Finally, toward the end of the party, a series of short presentations will conclude the event. Members of the ASURA Board of Directors and Committee Chairs (i.e. Travel, Luncheons and Special Events, Video History, Seminars, Retirees Day, Community Outreach, Membership) will preview the events and activities that have been scheduled for the upcoming 2018-2019 year. Note: The committees are always looking for additional members and this event offers you an easy way to volunteer if you find one or more of the committee activities of interest.
We hope to see you at this fun event.
Registration: To register for this event either use the Register button on this page or call the ASURA Office at 480-965-7668 by 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 5th so the correct number of pizzas can be ordered.
