Creative Writing Workshop

The Emeritus College proudly announces its 21st year of creative writing workshops. The Emeritus College Creative Writing Workshop for Spring 2026 will begin Thursday, February 19 and continue weekly (except for March 12) until April 30th. It will take place in Old Main 120, from 1pm - 3pm.
Leading the Workshop will be nationally known mystery writer, Donis Casey .
It is open to writers of all levels, from beginning on. Basic elements of creative writing in fiction, memoirs and other genres will be practiced, and participants will read and advise on each other’s work. The Workshop will be taught in person at the Emeritus College and be available via Zoom for participants who are physically infirm or live outside of the Phoenix area.
Tuition for the ten-week Workshop is $100. You may register by postal mail or in person at the Emeritus College Office. Please contact the Emeritus College at 480-965-0002 or email at emerituscollege@asu.edu for more information and to reserve a place. Registration is limited, so early action is recommended.
Parking in the Fulton will be validated if you do not already have a permit.
