Like most of us, you’ve probably been hearing a lot about artificial intelligence and may be wondering what it is and it how will affect your life.  Discover the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in this interactive workshop designed to showcase its transformative power and how you can benefit from it.  AI is becoming part of our daily lives, whether it be for planning that next trip, suggesting restaurants or even getting medical information.  Participants will receive the latest updates on cutting-edge AI initiatives at Arizona State University, exploring the future of AI in higher education and generative AI as well as participate in interactive examples of how you can benefit from using AI in your daily life. Additionally, attendees will delve into the fascinating technical aspects of generative AI with easy-to-understand explanations. By the end of the seminar, you will leave with a wealth of knowledge on AI advancements and resources for further exploration. Join us for an inspiring journey into the limitless possibilities of AI and how it is shaping today, tomorrow and the future beyond. 

Our presenter for this seminar will be Tina Miller, Executive Director of Creative x Communications at Arizona State University’s Enterprise Technology division.  Tina leverages nearly thirty years of experience across Fortune 500 companies, government, and academia to drive AI-driven innovation and transformative communication strategies. Known for her visionary leadership, Tina has been at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence to enhance team performance, streamline operations, and foster inclusive, future-ready organizational cultures. At ASU, Tina leads a dynamic team committed to shaping principled AI adoption while delivering impactful storytelling that highlights technological innovation's role in solving real-world challenges. She regularly speaks at conferences, such as EDUCAUSE, HighEdWeb, and the American Marketing Association’s Higher Ed Symposium, where she shares actionable insights on how AI can fuel creativity, efficiency, and innovation. She is also a regular speaker for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).

Registration is now open and will close on Friday, February 7, 2025. Once you have registered, you will receive the Zoom link and any handouts that will be used prior to the seminar.

  1. On the Monday before the seminar, look for a seminar announcement which will include the Zoom link and link to any handouts.
  2. On the day before the seminar, look for another seminar announcement which will include the Zoom link to the seminar and link to any handouts.
  3. Around 9:45  AM click on the link and follow the directions.
  4. If you have not used Zoom before you will be directed to install the Zoom application on your device before connecting you to the seminar
